A small business ten years in the making, Jamie and Pete first met when Pete, a then wood shop manager at Columbia College, teased Jamie, an Arts Management undergrad, for snapping the blade on a band saw. Many years later, after a "chance" meeting arranged by Jamie, they reconnected and as quickly as their relationship took off, so did their plans to mix Pete's remarkable woodworking skill and eye for design with Jamie's business knowledge and attention to detail. In 2012, they created brassandbark and have been working together in both business and life ever since.
Making furniture and art with a bit of Mid-century modern influence, they are committed to unmatched craftsmanship and the production of unique statement pieces.
